Project File

Previous pageReturn to chapter overviewNext page

A CHPS Project File contains a collection of saved Profile information along with Elevation Data and Constraints settings, and some User Settings from when the Project was saved. Project Files allow CHPS work to be saved and used in multiple sessions and on different computers. Note that Projects do not save the results of payload calculations; these are recalculated when a Project is loaded. This means that the original Elevation Data must be available when loading a Project.

Carriage and Yarder definitions are saved with Projects. If a Carriage or Yarder is loaded from a Project and is not present in the Database, the option will be given to add it to the Database for future use.

CHPS Project Files use the .CHPSProject file extension and are in the XML format.
